Middies Beat Undefeated Colerain

Middletown Middies FootballThis past Friday the Middletown Middies faced off against the undefeated football team Colerain. Colerain was ranked number #1 in Ohio and #8 in the nation before facing off wtih the Middies. They came with an astounding 61 GMC Game wining streak. That all changed Friday October 3rd when coach Jason Krause and the Middies came through to beat the Colerain 42-39 at home in their home field Barnitz Stadium.

With this win Jason Krause has now made it clear that he has high hopes for the Middies and they hope to go far this year. Football fans from Middletown were hoping for a winning season out of the new coach and Krause has exceeded those expections so far. With the new win over Colerain, the Middies have moved up to the number 1 spot in the GMC with a record of 5-2, 4-0 GMC. With four games left the win almost guarantees Middletown a spot in the playoffs.
